From the clothing that your characters wear to the technology they use, we explore how technology and society would be different for denizens of our stories, and perhaps how that difference can be used to further the story we want to tell while still not leaving the reader in the cold.

Overcoming Fandom Cliches in your Writing
A discussion of tropes specific to the fandom, what's old hat and cliche, and what you can do about it if you plan on using them. A lot of the tropes were either established in the 90s and are old hat to greymuzzles but younger writers don't know about them, or are constantly recycled by new authors. Things like "The six origins of furry species" "Humans oppressing the furries" "A post-human world where the humans were all evil but now there's only furries" and so on.
